planning upgrades

I didn’t even know this existed until my wife bought me one from makeshed…it’s under the tree, and I can’t wait! I’m kinda like Tim the tool guy in that anything I get I immediately want to make it faster/ stronger/ part werewolf :laughing:

I have a couple of questions:
battery pack – I’ve looked at a few LiFe and LiPo battery packs, what is a safe(ish) target for voltage? The amp draw on the these type packs can definitely handle it.

servotor32/servos: what is the max draw this board can handle? Basically, I can get my hands on enough profoundly more powerful servos, and will be cutting plate aluminum to build my own chassis.

autonomous: from playing with the code, It looks like the servotor32 board has around 19k bytes space left – has anyone shared any sensor/ AI code for that? also how many/ what type pins are left over when assembled according to directions?

since it can handle 32 servos, with a bit of a rebuild, you could easily make a octopod (3 DoF *8 legs), anyone trying that?
